Why do they mist up or condensate?
The reason the glass does this can be down to the age, the quality, or poor installation and as a result of this the units can 'break down' causing holes to appear in the seal around the unit. These holes then draw in moisture from the air allowing it to get inside between the two panes, which then causes the condensation inside the unit. Changes in the temperature can cause the moisture to condense.

You can now have your standard glass simply replaced with energy-efficient glass.
The standard upgrade is a "C" rated Low- E glass, This uses a transparent metallic coating that reflects heat from internal sources such as your radiators back into the room, It also allows heat from the sun to pass through the glass and significantly reduces it from escaping.
For a premium upgrade "A" rated glass will give maximum efficiency and best results, The "A" glass does the same as the "C" rated glass but has the added extra of argon gas, This is a colourless, non flammable gas that is added in between the unit replacing the air, The gas is less thermally conductive than air so this allows the heat to stay in during winter and out in the summer.
